What to Expect

Scheduling an Appointment

After you contact us via phone or our contact form, one of our office staff will reach out with more information.

Once our staff reaches out, we will complete a preliminary intake with you and schedule your initial appointment. 

During the intake process we will confirm your insurance coverage and co-pay or discuss self-pay options with you.

A few weeks before your appointment, you will receive an email from us with all of the paperwork needed for your appointment.

Your First Visit

Arrival

Once you arrive at our offices, take a seat in the lobby. No need to check in with the office staff. Your counselor will greet you in the lobby at your appointment time. If your sessions are virtual, your therapist will contact you with details on how to join the session. 

Paperwork and Payment

Make sure to bring all of the paper work items that were emailed to you to your first appointment. Be sure to bring your insurance card and payment method if you have not already discussed it with the practice staff. 

Virtual Session

If you are joining your session virtually, our staff will send you information about how to join before your session. 

First Session

The first session with your therapist will cover your registration paperwork and personal background. You may discuss your goals and next steps for your therapy sessions. 

Next Steps

Your therapist will schedule your next appointment(s) with you before you leave and answer any additional questions you may have.
